My insurance policy

Hello my sweet babies,
This is my loving motherly reminder to your future selves that these kind of photos are alive and well and in large quantity on my hard drive and other digital repositories I shall not name at present. For now (and to me always!), they are cute and adorable snapshots of your young innocent selves. I will cherish them and keep them safe, always.

In the future, however, they may become my weapons of mortification, should you pursue an unsuitable romantic interest, decide to join the military, or quit college.

You have been warned.

More bath time

Just a few more pictures of Henry in the bath - cause he's so darn cute and all. This time it was his Grandma Christine giving him the deluxe treatment.

Henry's first bath

Henry's first bath (well, more like first sponge bath at home) was a fun experience for all. Since we were visiting my Mom right after Henry was born, Grandma did the honors.

It was not Henry's favorite thing...


... but Grandma didn't raise seven kids for nothing...


She knew how to sweet talk him...

And pretty soon, he didn't think it was such a bad deal.

Fun, fabulous bath time

Luckily my kids really love baths. Well, Tom only likes them when you don't wash his hair. But he is starting to come around to the idea of cleanliness from the top down. Mary Alice has a particularly good time and learned to splash really early on. I think she took to it from the moment Tom squealed in fright when the droplets of water hit his hair. Funny how one child's trial can be another's delight.











Oh, come on... this counts! Bath time = Any time child is wet.
(Excluding beverage spillages, of course - I am not that carefree of a mother... usually.)



Besides, the kids really love it.
