Our Teresa is due to have her first baby is less than a month, so the Bradshaw sisters decided to put on a bit of a party for little Bailey.

It was quite a turn out - with over 60 people. I must say, my parents' neighborhood is awesome and extremely supportive of all the major life events for the kids that grew up there. Heaven knows they must attend a baby or bridal shower or wedding every other week!

Here is Teresa, surrounded by her two moms and showing off one of the cute outfits that Bailey will wear.

Here's our "treat" table... well it was just supposed to be a treat table, but turned into a luncheon. Everyone brought so much food! I think we must have packed on 1,500 calories just at the shower.

And this one might have packed on a bit more...

After the shower, we did more celebrating that night. Teresa and Amy's birthdays were that same week, so we had another combined party. Here is Teresa opening up her presents - with the assistance of the lovely Dave.

And here is Amy opening up her gifts with the assistance of the lovely Henry.

Aren't they adorable?

And here is Teresa posing in her gift from Amy and Becca - a genuine pajama set just for old-fogie moms.

But those old-fogie moms know what they are doing - and these pajamas (we are informed) are the most comfy PJ set EVER! Which is good, cause I am guessing (from personal experience) that she probably won't get out of it for a month after that baby is born.

And last, but never least, is the inevitable battle of the dares between our brother-in-law Dave and our adopted-brother Nick that resulted from Teresa's old-fogie-mama-pj-set ... and the mere fact that they were in the same room together.

Cause let's face it - these two probably have never had a conversation that didn't end in "I dare you to..."

And Nick did... well sort of. This dare would have ended up with a serious case of heartburn for Nick and a romp around the neighborhood in Teresa's brand new old-fogie-mama-PJs for Dave, but it didn't take. I do believe, though, that Nick consumed a lemon as the result of a prior dare just minutes before and Dave ended up shaving something.
