Going solid

Henry is beginning that slow ascent to solid food now. And for the first time in our parenting experience, we have a very enthusiastic helper on this messy journey. Thomas takes great pleasure in trying to help feed the baby, though he can't quite understand why Henry won't "open wiiiide" when he asks. But luckily for us, Henry is a relatively good eater. If he had 1/10 of Thomas's infant skills for distance and spread of rice cereal goo, it would be a much soggier adventure.
