When you can't sleep

Yep, this one right here...

...comes up with the most extraordinary reasons for not going to bed.  I am amazed at how creative/imaginative she is with her excuses.  Since she is definitely our stay-up-late, sleep-in-late kid, she finds it hard to go to bed at 8:00 with her brothers.  She stays awake for several hours, often calling to us about some emergency or other.

 So, I am going to keep a running list of her emergency excuses for not going to sleep - just so she knows, when she is all grown up and sophisticated, what a cute little stinker she was.

Let's start off with this week:

1. My bed is on fire.
2. I have blood in my mouth. (She was coming to grips with Thomas' revelation that there is blood all through your body.)
3. I can't find my belly button.
4. There's a frog in my bed.
